| Alluna Newton
Astrographs are high-end telescopes uncompromisingly oriented to highest
optical and mechanical quality. As pure astrograph or as robust observatory
telescope for visual use or for research, the Alluna Newton astrographs
are the right choice for all application areas. |
For
the optics, the core of each optical telescope, we do not engage with any
experiment. We use exclusively high-quality optics of our own production.
The tube is, same as in our RC Telescopes, made of a honeycomb-pocket structure.
In order to allow the best possible insight the tube's upper part is rotatable
in a highly precise socket. |

| A perfect parabola shape
of the main mirror and in addition a low surface roughness are the preconditions
for the high-contrast pictures of a Newton astrograph. We guarantee, that
all Newton optices comply with these rewuirements. Alluna Newton astrographs
are available as fast-lens f3.8 systems in four different sizes, 16, 18,
20 and 24 inches as standard. In case you require a higher light intensity,
we can offer systems with openings of down to f3.0. With a 3 inch Wynne
corrector you may achieve a perfectly corrected field of up to 45 mm. |

Astrographs CNC Carbon Truss OTA |
You will hardly find a Newton
astrograph featuring the same precision down to the last detail as our
Carbon Aluminium Truss astrograph. All bigger parts are cut from solid
aluminium. Thanks to the honey-comb pocket structure we achieve enormously
stable and warp resistant systems even in a leightweight construction.
Using most modern CAD systems
is indispensable for construction and design of our high-quality telescopes.
Complex single components and sub-assemblies are modelled exactly upon
the requirements and assembled virtually before production. Thus all parts
can be optimised with regard to weight, stability and expansion behaviour.
The comprehensive FEA (Finite element analysis) additionally helps to analyse
all supporting parts by means of stress simulations.

Telescope Control |
Same as for our Ritchey-Chrétien
telescopes, QSC, the telescope control system takes over control of the
basic functions of the Newton telescope. On the one hand climatisation
of the optical tube and the primary mirror and on the other hand focusing
on the 3.5 inch drawtube and switching on/off heating of the secondary
mirror.
The
climate mode also provides exact temperature data. Controlling the fans
is fully automated, depending on the current delta between surrounding
temperature and main mirror temperature. The focus mode displays the current
focus position in digits, mm or inches on a large-sized display.
The GoTo function allows you to approach pre-set focus positions fast and
precise. The so-called focus drift is automatically compensated. For a
