Collimation
of a Alluna Ritchey Chrétien telescope
In the following we show
you how you Alluna Ritchey Chrétien telescope in a few steps and
within
a few minutes to adjust
perfectly. The collimation is performed best in daylight.
 |
Step 1
You need a Takahashi Collimations
Scope and for the connection to the telescope the adapter for M100x1.
The Takahashi Colli Scope
and the adapter that fits all of our RC telescopes to get with us as an
accessory. |
 |
Step 2
Connect the Colli Scope with
the adapter M100x1 |
 |
Step 3
Then screw the adapter with
the Colli Scope on Alluna RC-Telescope set the output. It is advantageous,
with the existing extension tubes to extend the output. |
 |
Step 4
The Takahasi Colli Scope
is now firmly attached to the telescope. The optical axis agrees with the
later use of CCD camera, eyepiece, or other supplies exactly with the!
Nothing can shake everything is tight!
Now the opening of the telescope
on a bright wall or white paper are target.
|
 |
Step 5
Looking through the Collimations
Scope you see in a not adjusted system accompanying picture. This system
we have for the extra explanation misadjusted strong. The goal now is to
get visible concentric rings all.
The Colli Scope can something
be moved back and forth. So you can focus accurately. |

|
Step 6
If an adjustment should be
necessary, first open the lock screws then can the adjustment screw for
setting to be moved.
There are three adjusting
screws and three locking screws for the main mirror and the secondary.
|
 |
Step 7
First, the secondary mirror
is adjusted. These screws are the three counter secondary mirror holder
open on.
By turning the adjustment
screw-on secondary mirror holder moves the smallest inside white circle,
which is the marker that are on the secondary. This is must be exactly
centered on the second inside white circle are placed.
Are the two white rings inside
each other in the middle, secondary is the adjusted finished.
Do not forget the lock screw
on secondary mirror holder pick up again. |
 |
Step 8
The next step is the adjustment
of the primary mirror.
First, the three locking
screws on the backplate will be slightly open.
Now, the wide black circle
in the somewhat thinner outer black circle.
Please compare the picture
with an accompanying picture above. When very thin white ring uniformly
to see is a circle between the two, is also the primary mirror and thus
adjusts the whole RC-System ready.
Please do not forget the
counter-tighten the screws primary mirror again, again adjusting uncontrollable. |
I hope it helped you and
we could show you how easy adjustment of a Alluna Ritchey Chretien Telescope
is.

Note: We are aware
of questions that this manual for the adjustment of Cassegrain or RC system
does not use Alluna telescopes. Often the results will not meet expectations.
Please note that our RC-Telescopes
are manufactured with high precision!
That means at Alluna RC-Systems
are the primary mirror, secondary mirror, the baffle and the spider to
each other exactly and precisely centered in the middle of OTA system.
With exactly do we mean to each other deviations of perhaps one or two
tenths of a millimeter of all components throughout the system.
In other Cassegrain and RC
systems often agree, these axes do not match, are wrong move or change
of load.
Few millimeters and more
are not uncommon. An adjustment to the visible rings with the Tak-Collimations-scope
leads to these telescopes rarely a success. Such telescopes, you should
costly adjust on the star as possible or at the zenith of the main direction
of observation.
